The MCSC

Some time ago a group of ladies at Mary Baldwin College came together to form the MBC Male Companion Selection Committee, or the MBC MCSC. Over the years we have examined numerous beaux, and have come up with a set of questions that we often use in our examinations. Here they are.

The Questions

  1. What activity do you most love to hate?
  2. Do you like fencing?
  3. What book have you read most often in your life? Is it your favorite book? If not, why?
  4. Why is the sky blue?
  5. If a programmer created a script to combine miscellaneous words and phrases and output them to a web page, would you consider the result poetry?  Why or why not?
  6. What are your 10 favorite cds?
  7. What 3 things do you like best about (the girlfriend), and why?
  8. How do you feel about chewing gum?  If you like it, what is your favorite kind, and if you don't, why not?
  9. If you were going to die in five hours, but could be reincarnated as absolutely ANYONE, at any point in history, who would you choose to come back as, and why?
  10. If you had to live in one city for the rest of your life, what questions would you ask about each scrutinized city before choosing a specific one?
  11. What is the most important thing we should know about you?
  12. What is the purpose of dating?
  13. What's the difference between poetry and a poem?
  14. What does 'vague' mean?
  15. Do you wear pink?
  16. Which is more real, a koala bear, justice, or the number three?
