I used to do quite a lot of cross-stitch but I rarely do anymore. The occasional wedding
sampler is about it. These two pieces I made years ago and happen to have kept.

This was one of the first big cross stitch projects I ever attempted. I finished
it years ago, when I was just a kid. The woman at the store convinced me to do
it on Aida because she thought linen would be too hard for me, but I think all the
half stitches would have been easier on linen.

This was another cross stitch project that I did years ago. I always meant to
do the matching "Winter Angel", but I sort of got bored with cross-stitch. I
like this one, though. She hangs in my bedroom.
